Our Doctrinal Statement
The
Bible
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the verbal and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed; and therefore, are the final authority for all faith, life, and practice. We further believe that God has preserved His words in the Hebrew Masoretic text and in the Greek Received Text and that His preserved words are accurately translated into the English Language in the King James Version. As such, the King James Version of the Scriptures shall be used for all preaching, teaching, Bible study, and memorization by this church.

The Godhead
We
believe in the Triune God, eternally existing in three persons
– God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit, each co-eternal in
being, co-identical in
nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same
attributes and perfections.

We
believe that there is only one true and living God. Who is eternal,
self-existent, infinite, and immutable. He is the maker and
supreme ruler of heaven and earth, and all things in it;
He is inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all honor,
glory, worship, and praise.

The Person And Work Of Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, to live a sinless life and to die as a sinless sacrifice for mankind. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, which was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah 700 years before his birth, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His finished work on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.

The Person And Work Of The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhead; that He is a divine person equal with the Father and Son; who convicts and reproves the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, indwelling all believers and sealing them unto the day of redemption.

the fruit of the Spirit, and that he gives spiritual gifts to every
believer, and uses evangelists, pastors, and teachers in equipping
and edifying saints/

II
Thessalonians 2:7; I John 2:20, 27
We believe that the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and the gift of healing, were temporary. Speaking in tongues was never the common or necessary sign of the baptism or filling of the Holy Spirit and that ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection, though God frequently chooses to answer the prayer of believers for physical healing.
Mark 16:17-20; I Corinthians 1:22, 13:8, 14:21-22;II Corinthians 12:12; Hebrews 2:3-4
The Depravity of Man
We believe that God created man in His own image and likeness. In Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; that man by choice, willingly disobeyed God. Therefore man is totally depraved, and, of himself, utterly incapable and unable to remedy his lost condition.
Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1–7, 22-24, 5:1-5;
Romans 1:18,28,32, 3:10-23, 5:12,19;
Ephesians 2:1-3,12, 4:17-19
Salvation
We believe the plan of salvation was finished with Christ’s work on the cross. His shed blood is the propitiation for the sins of men. We believe that the message of salvation is repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation is by grace, a free gift of God, plus nothing, minus nothing. That Jesus Christ died for everyone, and that each individual must accept or reject the grace of God. We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that all the redeemed, once they are saved are kept by God’s power and are then secure in Christ forever. We believe that eternal life is the present possession of every believer, and they can live life with the assurance of their salvation.

The Church
We believe that the church started with the calling out of the twelve apostles by Jesus Christ and was empowered on the day of Pentecost. We believe the church is a local, visible, called-out assembly of born-again, baptized believers who have voluntarily assembled themselves together for worship, prayer, preaching, teaching, fellowship, edification, discipline, and to actively engage in carrying out the Great Commission.

We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or controls, and of any affiliations, societies, organizations, associations, or agencies, and that the Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the church.

We believe that the only offices held in the local church are pastors (bishops, elders, or overseers) and deacons, both positions having specific qualifications and responsibilities according to the scriptures.
I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-11
Biblical Separation
We believe that all believers should maintain a godly testimony and are to live in a way that does not bring reproach upon the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. That God commands his people to be a separate people, to separate from all worldly philosophies, sinful practices, and pleasures. To separate from all immodesty and immorality. To separate from all religious apostasy, associations, doctrinal compromise, and from disobedient brethren.

The Rapture of the Church and Return of Christ
We believe the “Blessed Hope” of our Lord Jesus Christ's return. That it is literal, personal, visible, imminent, premillennial, and pre-tribulational. That all believers will be caught up to be with the Lord (The Rapture), prior to the seven years of tribulation, and at the end of the tribulation Christ will return with His saints to establish His thousand-year reign on the earth.
